Qualifications

• Graduated from Engineering departments of prominent Universities preferably from Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in raw material purchasing in chemical industry.
• Strong analytical thinking and reporting skills,
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English,
• Good knowledge of ERP (preferably oracle)
• Flexible and open to new perspectives,
• No military obligation (for male candidates),
• Living or willing to live in Istanbul.

Job Description

• Managing all purchasing activities for raw materials,
• Negotiating and managing the contract process
• Improving the supplier panel and negotiating the price, ensure the delivery and that the quality meets company requirements,
• Evaluating potential and active suppliers,
• Supporting/improving the inbound logistics operation,
• Working proactively to improve, review and implement standard processes and procedures.
• Analyzing market conditions or trends
